Population: 

College Park provides the best of both worlds - a small - town atmosphere within one of the fastest growing metropolitan areas in the country. The latest U.S. Census figures set the city's population at 13,811. Employers, however, may take advantage of a metropolitan labor force of over three million plus.

Employment Options:

A well-maintained and convenient highway system, along with extensive rapid rail and bus routes, enables workers to access a wide range of employment options.

Property:

The median property value in Ward 4 is $174,200, with a homeownership rate of 25.1%. As of 2022, Ward 4 has approximately 1,250 housing units, with an additional 350 units at Hawthorne Station expected to come online soon. Ward 4 is home to about 3,800 residents, of which approximately 85% are African American, 10% Hispanic, and 5% other racial/ethnic groups. The average monthly utility cost for a five-person household is $265.
