Splashes of Joy: Westpoint Creek Townhomes Pool Reopens After a Decade
Summer in Ward 4 is off to a refreshing start! Residents of Westpoint Creek Townhomes celebrated the long-awaited grand re-opening of their community pool, which had been closed for nearly ten years. Thanks to the support of Councilman Roderick Gay, who provided generous food donations—including a crowd-pleasing ice cream truck—the celebration was a sweet success.
College Park Police Officers Ellis, Lewis, and Wyatt kept the energy high and the event safe, joining residents in a joyful afternoon of music, treats, and water-filled fun. It was a true moment of reconnection and community pride.

"Living in WARD 4’s apartment communities is sustainable, thanks to strict code enforcement and city ordinances that ensure quality standards and affordability for residents."
Ward 4 in College Park features five apartment complexes over 25 years old, once home to prominent minorities in the '80s. Thanks to Councilman Gay’s leadership, strong code enforcement, and $7 million in renovations by Chad Construction, 2601, once slated for demolition, now stands as a top-quality, affordable option for working families to live.
