Ward 4 is a thriving, inclusive community where tradition meets innovation, and every resident has the opportunity to flourish. Our vision is to sustain Ward 4 as the most sought-after area in College Park by fostering a vibrant, safe, and welcoming environment.
We aim to:
Preserve our rich history and celebrate the contributions of our historic African American constituency.
Support growth and innovation through transformative developments like the Hawthorne Station subdivision and the upcoming 40-acre botanical garden. Ensure access to exceptional community resources, such as Phillips Park, the city’s most utilized park with the greatest amenities.
Promote financial security and well-being for all, exemplified by property tax relief for our senior residents. Maintain the highest safety standards making Ward 4 the safest ward in College Park.
Honor and support our beloved seniors, who are the foundation of "Mighty" Ward 4, ensuring they remain valued and cherished community members. Create a community where all families feel safe, welcomed, and supported—whether they are same-sex families, traditional families, transient apartment residents, or affluent elderly households. With a steadfast commitment to unity, progress, and service, I will continue building a neighborhood where neighbors support one another and where all can thrive.
