A Message from Councilman Roderick Gay

Welcome to Ward 4!
I’m Roderick Gay, and it’s an honor to serve one of the most vibrant and fastest-growing communities in College Park.
Right here in Ward 4, we’re bringing ideas to life—creating spaces for families, seniors, and future generations to enjoy. From Phillips Park to exciting new additions like the Paws on Main Dog Park and our newly completed Charles E. Phillips Park Restroom (Ribbon Cutting: April 22 at 11AM), you can see the progress happening in real time.
And we’re not stopping there…
-
The Roderick Gay Botanical Garden is coming in 2026!
Because of the work we’re doing together:
-
Our seniors pay no property taxes
-
Ward 4 continues to be one of the safest communities in College Park
-
And we’re building a future rooted in growth, pride, and connection
Ward 4 isn’t just where you live…
It’s where community comes to life.
My office is here to serve you—always.
Welcome home.
